Book Shopping

Being kept from the wedding we intended to attend last weekend, Kirsten and I filled the time by checking out the Half-Price Book stores in Dallas. Here's what I bought.

The Case for Covenantal Infant Baptism

Does God Have A Future?

At the Corner of East and Now

The Harvest of Medieval Theology

The Meaning of Jesus

A fantastic thunderstorm blew threw Dallas Saturday morning and was taking the exact same trek as we were planning to take. I didn't feel much like driving for three hours in a driving thunderstorm. Thus, book buying.

Harvest of Medieval Theology...mmm.

I bought a Chesterton Anthology at Crazy Ladies Bookstore today! It was insanely expensive for a used book, but it *was* Chesterton. I couldn't have not bought it.

Daniel,

My exposure to Wright has been through The Meaning of Jesus. I've read it before, but I liked it so much I wanted to have a copy of my own. I would like to read his trilogy but don't have the $90 it would take to buy them. I've recently bought Borg's The God We Never Knew and am looking forward to reading it more.
