Pulizter News

As it turns out, I spent several hours by myself at the cabnetry shop today and decided I would listen to something different. As much as I love classic rock, I was looking for something else. So, I turned it to NPR and listened to Fresh Air. They announced the winners of the Pulizter Prize and the winner for fiction was a book entitled Gilead. I've heard a little about the author (Peter Leithart has recommended her writings), Marilynne Robinson but haven't picked up any of her books. This novel is about a dying preacher and is apparently Robinson is unashamed in her postive presentation of the reverend. I normaly avoid fiction (to my shame), but this looks really good and one I might just pick up.
